Membership in the Railway Industrial Clearance Association is open to; persons employed by railroads involved with dimensinional shipments & clearances (Section 1 members), persons employed by shippers that are involved in the handling of dimensional rail shipments and clearances (Section 2 members), and others that work in other areas of the supply chain in support of dimensional shipment activity (Section 3 members).     New requests for membership require approval by the RICA board of directors and general membership at the annual meeting.  
    Membership is based on a calendar year, and expire on December 31st of each year.     Renewals for the following year commence on and after 15-November.    Current dues for active membership is $100. per year or part thereof.
