RICA Events and Conference

 Annual Conference/Meeting

The Railway Industrial Clearance Association holds an annual meeting and conference, typically starting in June.  The meetings area held at various cities as determined by the board and vote of the membership at the annual meeting.    Industry Panels, Educational Sessions, Committee meetings, and Keynote addresses are part of the meeting and conference addressing the dimensional rail shipping throughout the supply chain.

 Annual Jim Ormsby Golf Tournament:

Held in conjunction with the annual meeting, RICA also hosts a golf tournament.   The next tournament will be in 2010 in Henderson, NV

Board of Directors Meetings:

The officers, directors, and committee chairs attend RICA Board of Director Meetings.   These meetings are usually held two times a year (fall/spring), at the annual meeting, and other times as determined by the Board if required.  The fall and spring Board of Directors meetings take place in conjunction with the AREMA committee meeting.    All RICA members are invited to attend, however voting is limited to officers and directors, and discussion may as well be limited by the board.

The next meeting will be March 23, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL in conjunction with the AREMA meetings on March 24-25, 2010
